In the course outline where it lists the topics to be included in the examination, it doesn't list statutory interpretation. Can we take that as it not being a topic being examined? I am a distance student so if they have said anything during the lectures i obviously have missed it.

In the course outline where it lists the topics to be included in the examination, it doesn't list statutory interpretation. : The examination topics on page 3 includes 'legal reasoning' which includes statutory interpretation. Substantial parts of the legal institutions and legal history are about statutory interpretation.
Can we take that as it not being a topic being examined? No, NEVER! It is one of the most frequent topics in the past exams.
I am a distance student so if they have said anything during the lectures i obviously have missed it. They are in the lecture notes and the second assignment is only for that topic and qualifies LPAB students for exam sitting.
